Residents in Abbotsford are left unsettled after police linked two separate armed street incidents to a single suspect. What started as isolated reports quickly turned into a larger investigation that spanned weeks and multiple locations.

On April 14, around 2:40 p.m., a confrontation unfolded near Maclure Road and Trethewey Street. Police say a lone male approached the victims and allegedly produced a firearm while demanding jewellery before fleeing the area.

Despite the sudden escalation, no injuries were reported.

Second Incident: Evening Trail Confrontation

Nearly two weeks later, on April 30 at around 8 p.m., a similar situation was reported along the Discovery Trail near Abbotsford Exhibition Park. Once again, a single suspect is said to have used a gun to pressure victims into handing over valuables.

Authorities confirmed the individuals involved were not physically harmed.

Investigation Deepens as Patterns Emerge
